Get help now.

If you are like us, you know how hard it is to find accessible quality care. You may have wondered if there could be a place that accepts and sees you as a person, not just a list of symptoms.

At Aspire, we get it.

For the past 50 years, we have been helping the most vulnerable Hoosiers overcome physical and mental illness and experience an improved quality of life.

Aspire is made up of people who share our values and come to work every day, knowing they will do something to help others. We see you as a whole person with different challenges but not just a collection of illnesses or problems.

We are committed to helping you not only feel better but be better.

We believe that every life has value.

Everyone deserves access to quality, fully integrated “whole health” care regardless of where they live or their socioeconomic status.

At Aspire, we help you become healthier so that you can live your best life.

Who We Are

Aspire Indiana Health is an independent nonprofit healthcare provider with more than a half-century of service to some of the most vulnerable Hoosiers.

We provide fully integrated “whole health” services, including primary medical care, behavioral health and addiction services. Aspire also has a broad array of community programs to address social drivers of health such as housing and employment.

We are committed to being innovative thought leaders in our market space while honoring our rich heritage of evidence-based healthcare practices as we evolve to meet the demanding needs of those we serve.

Our mission is person-centered, and our philosophy is a “no wrong door” approach to care. That means the Hoosiers who come to Aspire for one kind of help may find support for other challenges they face.

While serving the at-risk population remains at the core of what we do, Aspire has expanded our reach to provide “whole health for the whole family” in the communities we serve. Today we have nine health centers in four Central Indiana counties, but our reach extends to provide community programs that impact Hoosiers all across the state.

In addition to our outpatient services for addiction, behavioral and primary care, we also provide:

  • Deaf Services: No behavioral healthcare organization in Indiana provides more comprehensive services and options for children and adults who are deaf, hard of hearing or deaf-blind. Aspire’s nationally-recognized program includes both inpatient and outpatient services, housing and employment programs, and American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services.
  • Crisis Intervention: Aspire has a 24/7 Crisis Intervention service to help those with mental health crises and emergencies.
  • Housing Assistance: Aspire has access to or manages a variety of housing options for its clients, including rapid re-housing, shelter plus care, HOPWA, Section 8 apartments, PATH, and Co-Op living. With approximately 300 housing units, Aspire is one of the largest housing providers of any Community Mental Health Center in Indiana.
  • Infectious Disease: Aspire provides case management for people living with HIV/AIDS and offers HIV testing and prevention programs, including PrEP. Our HIV Care Coordinators provide services in over one third of the state. We also offer a special program for those dually diagnosed with HIV and substance use disorders.
  • Employment Programs: Aspire provides supported employment through the federal Ticket to Work program. Job skills training and employment counseling services are offered through our Indiana Works program.
  • TeleHealth: Aspire provides telehealth services to adolescents at Elwood Schools and can also provide this service as needed for intake and counseling appointments.
  • Kids Talk: Kids Talk is an accredited child advocacy center in Anderson which serves children and families in Madison and Tipton counties. Our professionals work with law enforcement, prosecutors, and the Department of Child Services to provide forensic interview and advocacy services for abused, neglected, and at-risk children. Kids Talk staff also present abuse prevention programs at community schools, reaching over 12,000 K-12 students in 2017.
